cyberpunk 2077 news is here. Eight years of waiting, numerous conversions, and a surprisingly high level of hype. The road to Cyberpunk 2077 release date was not easy to announce. For CD Project Red, the cyberpunk 2077 news about the game seems to be a magnetic process. And for the players, it is a testament to the fact that Witcher 3. Wild Hunt was no accident and that the studio is permanently famous and outstanding projects.
Can create I had been thinking for a long time about what to write at the beginning of the review. But in the end, I decided that these three words would suffice. “The wait was worth it.” This is precisely the game that is needed at the beginning of the next console generation. Bright, fun, and versatile. The game for which the CD project has once again jumped on his head.

Let’s discuss Cyberpunk 2077 news, reviews – with and without spoilers
Cyberpunk 2077 news was released to the press on December 1 – exactly one week before the review was banned. I even thought I wouldn’t have that much time to finish the storyline. But as a result, I not only managed to “close” the plot but also passed a dozen or two side questions. ۔ The developers decided not to go “Ubisoft’s Way” and did not make the open-world bigger than their previous game. On the contrary, they squeezed it significantly and made it more compact.
Simultaneously, there’s still a lot of material. Even if we reject all the “trash” questions, “go to the dump and throw the kidneys from the fittings to the guinea pigs,” many of which Something happens. Chains of aspects, some optional stories such as “V enters the cafe when the company is trying to return. Actively knocking on the owner / Stealing data / Hostage rescue” etc. You will spend more than a hundred hours mastering all the material. Believe me, there is Something to be done in Night City.
And I’ll tell you about one of the most important games of the year.
Conspiracy and conspiracy
I think the plot of the plot is familiar to everyone who at least somehow followed the game. Focus is on a fence (or fence) called V, trying to make a career for itself in the Dystopian metropolis of Knight City. At one point, the order he receives from Hero Fixer. Dexter de Shawn does not go as planned, and V learns many painful lessons from life. He also meets Johnny Silver Hand, a highly controversial figure who will have to compete during the game.
There is nothing in the game but Johnny “Cast,” an association of real Silverland identities, who died in 2023. The figure is recorded on a special biochip that V is forced to carry in his head. And which slowly transforms into a hero, rewriting his consciousness with Johnny’s personality.
It is impossible to get quiet, to interrupt the process. Therefore, a suspended sentence of a few weeks is given to resolve the issue. However, from a plot point of view, there are no restrictions, although the game. Hey, man, you’ll soon stick to the flippers – take your mind already!” I Will try to emphasize you with words in the spirit of You can at least completely forget the plot and move on to side missions.
After that (actually, after obedience), you are released into free-swimming, and the handle is said goodbye. Then you’re left to your own devices – you decide where to go and what to do.
Talking about what’s going to happen next is devastating, so I stopped here. All I can say is that the plot is self-written and at least playable for the sake of the story (and it is presented). Despite the fact that the first story is doing a lousy job with all these “bad corporations. And their leaders are smugglers,” the story seems a bit trivial, but gradually the story comes to light. And soon, it will not be removed from the ears. Also, don’t forget that Cyberpunk 2077 is still an RPG. So how this plot will change depends on a few moments during your selection and passing. There are many endings in the game (I will not say precisely how many). And the beginning of each one depends on individual circumstances.
Johnny Silverland and Vee
Johnny is usually able to speak separately. The character of Keanu Reeves (voiced by Ilya Bledney) is the real star of the game. This guy is a rocking chair, revolutionary and terrorist, narcissistic, and just a destructive Mu * a force. At the same time, however, they are demonically charming and able to decorate any scene with them. Silverland is not just “another storyline NPC.” It is the second main character, whose story map emerges parallel to V’s story.
There is a lot of silverware in the game. He comments on every other Vee’s move, interferes in almost all central and side missions. And always annoys the player, filling him with rivers of satire and dishonesty.
And at the same time, the pair of Vee and Johnny turned out to be the best. The protagonist can either ignore the “guest from the past” and engage in a constant conversation with him. Turning some scenes into a comedy theater. These dialogues are very lively, and each time they slowly reveal the personality of Silverhand in front of the player and show it unexpectedly. And yes, when Johnny first appears in the game, he will be almost the main villain for Vee. At the same time, it’s up to you what mode Silverland will come up with at the end of the game. Whether he’s your friend or an unwanted opponent.
A little spoiler: A series of questions in a game dedicated to Johnny and his life. And she shows the hero better than anything else. I strongly advise you not to postpone its approval.
Vee’s Character news in cyberpunk 2077
At the same time, V remains the main character – you have to play him (or her). Like Silverland, VK has his character and personal opinion on many issues, but most of the time. The player chooses – what to say, how to act, etc. The choice of choice primarily influences the hero’s role. So the hero corporation’s reaction and the hero-gypsy to the same events may be different, although there is a slight difference.
V’s ultimate goal is to become the best fence and legend in the city, with his name on the best list. How a hero’s dream comes true depends only on you.
The world and it is filling.
Many open-world games have a catastrophic problem – they make the open-world so big that it can spread the game time artificially (hello, Ubisoft!). Another problem with this approach is that sometimes you have to find interesting content. In Cyberpunk 2077, it’s much better.
As I already mentioned, the game world can hardly be called monumental. It is more compact than in the same third “The Witcher” and is packed to capacity with very different content. Story quests, chains of side quests, small adventures, orders from “fixers”, “bandit camps,” collectibles – all this is enough, and the game does not hesitate to drive you around all the districts so that you do not inadvertently miss Something.
Night City is a vast metropolis. There was a place for both ultra-modern skyscrapers, from which streams of holographic advertisements break into the sky and half-abandoned buildings on the city’s outskirts, where they planned to build an elite quarter. Each zone is at least slightly but different from the others: if you can still confuse the Chinese and Japanese quarters, you will hardly be able to confuse the Pacific and the Northside. Besides, the game does not keep you inside the city – if you wish, you can also drive around the outskirts of Knight City, where sand scorching from the sun and a wasteland scorched for kilometers around is waiting for you. Although even in such forgotten places, there is Something to see (and what to do).
One problem is connected with filling the world:
if you were furiously enraged by the “question marks” in The Witcher 3, you risk being left unimpressed by filling the world in Cyberpunk 2077. No, there will be no repetition of Skellige. There are just a lot of meetings with bandits.
The main thing here is that the city feels alive. Night City is also a character in the game. Invisible and intangible, but present in every scene and imposing an individual imprint on the events taking place. The heroes themselves sometimes notice that the city seems to be alive, and it turns out to feel this not only in words.
Wherever you go, there will be people everywhere (well, except for voyages in the wasteland, perhaps). Cars hurry along the streets. In some crowded places like the Japanese quarter market, it is naturally impossible to push through – in short. The game is always trying to create a sense of presence, to show that the city is not just a static decoration. And for the most part, she does it:
Every Task is Interesting
when you rush on some task, you always knock someone down, after which curses fly in your back. And the scene of chasing a car in some quest can quite accidentally end at the moment when you and the person being pursued together fly into a traffic jam at an intersection. And this is a random event – for some reason, I was forced to replay the segment with the chase, and in the end, we flew through the streets without traffic jams.
The previous meetings with the bandits and the search for evidence at the crime scenes perfectly emphasize the “liveliness” of the city and give it additional colors. The game honestly explains to you that the crime rate in Night City is catastrophically high, so it is a must for all residents to shoot back the bandits. So, if you suddenly stumble upon Gopnik in the gateway, you should not be timid about your actions.
At the same time, the laws of the city also apply to you. Start shooting at civilians – the police will appear and clearly explain that you cannot do this. If you provoke gang members into aggression, you will get it, and then you will have to fight off crowds of opponents from almost all over the area.
Quests and pumping news of cyberpunk 2077
With the pumping, everything is clear – you increase the levels, improve the characteristics, learn new skills. There are five characteristics in total (and it seems that there is also a secret sixth – but this is either a mockery from the developers, or I never found how to open it). Each of which a particular set of abilities is tied. For example, intelligence is responsible for hacking; engineering is crafting, allowing you to be healthier and painful to punch.
In addition to the normal levels, there are also reputation levels, and they also increase for quests, kills, and all that. Reputation makes you more famous (which will come back to haunt you in several tasks), gives you access to new guns and implants from merchants, and it grows much faster than the average level. For completing the storyline and several side branches (and, of course, several “street” activities), I received 44 reputation levels out of 50 possible, so I won’t have to grind for the coolest clothes for a long time. More precisely, you have to – but not reputation, but money.
Quests are the most interesting.
There are many of them in the game, they are diverse, and many of them give a unique experience. And many more of them are connected by a familiar plot and form whole arches.
Since I’m trying very hard not to spoil, here’s a short description of several side quests. Ride a race with a sandstorm. Dive into a flooded town near Knight City. A detective investigation about who killed the previous mayor of the city. An attempt to help a Buddhist monk who was “cyborgized” against his will. Your primary weapon is not firearms or cold weapons in half of the quests, but your hanging tongue and pumped up characteristics for answers with skill checks. Of course, you will also have to shoot and beat the muzzles, but there are just tons of dialogues in the game.
And almost all, I must say, is very, very well written.
And, no, the sidekicks are cool, but not everything in the game. There are also many small discoveries in “Cyberpunk.” “One Shots” (a few minutes of short stories), “A famous USSR fixer arrives in Knight City – throw him a bacon,” and the like. There are also chains of fist fighting, racing, and shooting championships, but such things seem to happen in all significant open-world RPGs. Well, the obligatory “kick your face in the face with a packet of gopinks,” but they don’t even count in terms of tasks – you can only see them on the map.
Weapons, vehicles, and cyber plants
Another question that bothered a lot of players – how about weapons in Cyberpunk 2077? The same “witcher” (no, I’m not tired of comparing them) was scolded by many for the “one-button” fight – what do we have here?
The action in Cyberpunk 2077 is very diverse and very “evil,” and there are plenty of weapons in this game to please everyone.
In 2077, engineering and technological thinking took another step forward. But the controversy – apparently following the Fallout series’s principles – did not change much. Firearms are still in use, and some nail beds are vulnerable to baseball bats, switch knives, and linen. I couldn’t find any combat lasers, smashing weapons, or any other future. But here’s a simple firearm for every typical taste – from a good old grandfather’s double-barreled gun to an electromagnetic gun. Or, to put it simply, a sniper rifle.
All firearms are divided into three types: standard weapons, projectiles that can backfire, “smart,” aimed at the enemy. And electromagnetic, which allows you to collect charges and break the cover. Gives. As a result, I chose the Kinetic Sniper, a silent, electromagnetic rifle and a Vibro club with the beautiful name “Weinstlaw Shokin. Which proved inevitable in battles where enemies had to be stunned instead of killed.
Each barrel is different
Behaves differently, and looks very cool. With a sniper rifle shot, you can become deaf. The thorns effectively crushed the enemies. A feature on electromagnetic guns is charged with us, which then “shoots” with an indescribable sound. However, the best voices are clubs, and they are Vibro clubs. Whenever I hit someone on the head with it, there was a loud slap, and I started to get dirty.
The owners who received the final blow with this ridiculous weapon may be embarrassed in the next world. But what can you do! The club fell into the category of “sectarian” weapons (its rarity can be pumped out), and it did more harm than good.
There aren’t many types of weapons in the game, but it’s realistic to choose the one you like. Again, no one forces you to use this weapon – you only have to get on the plots with the owners. The rest can go through an unarmed hero.
Spend your wallet wisely
But there are a lot of cars in the game. And if your wallet allows (but it usually doesn’t), you can buy cars from familiar “fixers” and fill your garage regularly. All cars differ not only in appearance but also in road behavior. Some things run better in a straight line, some are better in terms of turns, and other things will look great when running in idle areas.
The CD project supports the balance between realism and arcade. Which has dramatically improved cars’ physics compared to what I saw before the release. The game still doesn’t require knowledge of the steering wheel, pedals, and traffic rules, but necessary driving skills are still required. Probably the most relaxed feeling of motorcycles – fast, agile, and small, they meet exactly the speed of life in Night City. And allow you to get to the place where the car would crash.
Interestingly, there are many sports activities, including driving a car and going on a quest? Sit in the car with your partner, discuss the details along the way. It would still be possible to refuse visits inside missions, but that number would not work with plot missions – if you, please sit down and listen.
Cars and Motorcycles are also your warehouses
where you can put the gun of your choice, which still doesn’t have enough features (or which you want to keep in your collection). That left – and then you can pick it up from the cache in V’s apartment, for example. Quite a simple system, mainly because a car will run anywhere in the city on your call.
This is the case with implants. Of course, apart from some stories, you can go into the game without installing them. With a set of viruses, cyber decks, better eyes than scanners, and hands with ballistic modules (this is a basic set) will suffice for your eyes. The rest is just an improvement.
But it’s cyberpunk 2077 news.
Why not turn your hands into big blades that cut your enemies in half? And don’t upgrade your lungs to restore better endurance? Or don’t make legs with “springs” to jump twice as much as usual? You can eventually make yourself bulletproof skin or improve brain function. The important thing here is that there is a lot of money and the reputation is reasonable. A prescription. The tenant will only be sold in the trash, while a Knight City veteran will not miss the cool upgrade.
True, in the end, I didn’t see any improvement – I just lifted my legs for the powerful jump, the “Mentis Blade,” and improved the cyberpunk. But you can go your own way – no one will impose restrictions.
By the way, about cyber decks and viruses. This is a handy tool that allows you to “break” your enemies and infect them with all kinds of trash. Cutting their implants, “extinguishing” the vision, motor skills, short-term memory. Beating them with lightning – the list goes on. unAt the same time, even if you go through the game as a pacifist and don’t kill anyone, CyberDack will help you. It also allows you to expose enemies and turn off the camera, and there are plenty of non-lethal scripts for hacking.
Immersion and guidance
“Why the first-person look ?!” “Bring back the third!” “Well, since the first one, I won’t take it!” Familiar words, right? Some players know about this fact. There is a lot of talks that first-person theory will only harm the game. Time has put everything in place – a camera like this is more than appropriate in a game.
The CD Project has managed to make the first role-playing severe game – with a surprisingly high level of direction. The first large-scale impact of BioWare. Only now do you observe everything from the character’s point of view, from the first person – and thus directly participates in events. Cyberpunk 2077 has many scenes where a third person’s view may not give even half the desired effect.
Yeah, Al, that sounds pretty crap to me. It looks like BT isn’t for me either, Looks like BT isn’t for me either. Looks like BT isn’t for me either, Looks like BT isn’t for me either, Looks like BT isn’t for me either, Looks like BT isn’t for me either, Looks like BT isn’t for me either, Looks like BT is not for me either, Looks like BT is not for me either. You walk the streets yourself. You sip whiskey at once, you argue fiercely with other characters who don’t hesitate to press with authority, pull a gun to your face, or smile happily. ۔
Cyberpunk 2077 pc collector’s edition Direction
The direction in the game is excellent without any jokes. This, I suppose, partly explains the short story (30 to 50 hours of gameplay, it all depends on how you play). If the same production level were increased in one hundred hours, we would wait another five years for release.
However, you can still see your hero. In the car or on the motorcycle, you can turn on the third-person view. The hero’s model can be seen in the inventory menu, and also reflect the mirror V in the game. But only if you have it Go and “get closer to the mirror.” However, this maneuver also lowers the number of frames per second (this is so true in the press version), so be careful.
The third person is missing in the sex scene. By the way, there are many of them in the game, and all of them are different (except, of course, scenes with the prostitutes of Chopak Street). Third-party ideologues can only benefit a few. On the other hand, the first personal theory here also works for immersion. Especially when you consider that a similar scene is a certain point in the development of V’s relationship with every other character. All the scenes I’ve seen are the sound stage and dynamic but without pornography. Bare breasts are shown but are virtually absent in the genital frame. However, this is understandable – the authors did not just want to get adult ratings.
Technical news of the cyberpunk 2077
We are approaching the “darkest” moment in the whole game. The news of Cyberpunk 2077 looks fantastic. Some frames can freeze in place, the characters look good, even close-ups on the characters’ faces don’t turn them into a fragrant set of pixels. Nightlife and daytime are beautiful, and I haven’t decided which option I like. Nightlife is all about cyberpunk. It’s a dark city with many neon signs and holographic advertisements. But it’s just so hacked and trot that it’s boring. Daytime Night City may not surprise the imagination with its bright colors, but it still looks great.
However, beauty comes at a price. In our case, the correction and the number of bugs, which are flying in places.
The game itself weighs 70 gigabytes, and the press already has access to the patch, which weighs 49 gigabytes. This is not the final “Day One patch. Still, only a part of it – even more fixes and improvements will be implemented simultaneously with the game’s release (it will all be built into the release version, to be more precise). Therefore, stability and performance should still be improved. And many minor bugs, such as dropping weapons, lots of questioning issues. And even small things like that, have been promised to improve this patch.
No Bugs in cyberpunk 2077 art
I haven’t seen any dead bugs that prevent the game from being completed. But there are many small mistakes. In one question, during a chase in the car, my V was “blown” off her head, leaving her unable to shoot. In another, I went bald after putting on a weights suit. (and then the same NPC teleport was found underground in the same search, and I couldn’t complete the attempt the first time). Sometimes the number of frames drops too fast from blue (this point is already fixed). There were also ridiculous bugs, such as “You can” shoot “a cannon like a cannon if you stick it against the wall. Finally, every time I get out of the game, I make a mistake that Cyberpunk 2077 didn’t shut down properly. It does not affect savings, but it isn’t comforting.
With optimization, things are like this – on my configuration with i7-7700, with Vega 64 with 8 GB VRAM, 16 GB RAM, and an SSD (by the way, it’s better to play on it) in maximum settings. A game in 2K resolution gave 30-40 fps. In 1080p – Already 50+ frames per second, but I’ve never seen a steady 60. At the same time, everything is played reasonably well, and I didn’t notice any drastic degradation. (except for the moments above, when the FPS randomly dropped by half).
I think the worst will be Piston consoles’ owners, and the owners of PC versions with exemplary assemblies will feel the most comfortable. However, patches for video cards and new drivers can also improve the situation a bit.
Result of Cyberpunk 2077 news
Yeah, Al, that sounds pretty crap to me. It looks like the news of Cyberpunk 2077 about a completely different game is right. But the developers here. It seems to me, there’s nothing wrong with that. Still, one knows how to imagine oneself, and then the developers are scolded for the fact that they did Something wrong somehow – that is.
CyberPunk 2077 news is a substantial immersive RPG with a rich history, excellent production, and charming characters. A game that is ready to give you more than a dozen hours of adventure in the city of the future. It may not always be perfect (at least in terms of the interface). And in no case is it about your personal opinion of how a cyberpunk story should look, but it is nonetheless the best. And I undoubtedly gave it the highest score because the game gave me a lot of emotion. Something similar happened this year with Hades (which also gave me a top ten) and Dom Internal.
I’m going to be mediocre, but go and play for yourself. After all, many people still have pre-orders, and you’re already waiting for the opportunity to enter Night City without any diagnosis or unusual text. So wait, there are only three days left – and no transfers this time! That’s it from my side as I have discussed all cyberpunk 2077 news & reviews. So Boom!
